Copperas Cove, Texas – The Copperas Cove Police Department is excited to announce the winners of the 2020 Chief Tim Molnes Memorial Scholarship. A number of worthy seniors applied for the scholarship, but the committee could only select five finalists. And the winners are:
Emily Armstrong
Gabriella Gorres
Kylie Hayhurst
Madelyn Miller
Rylee Oster
These finalists have not only excelled in academics but genuinely represent the meaning of "community" through their hard work in volunteerism and extracurricular activities. All the recipients will receive $1000.00 towards their college education. With the many hardships and challenges endured by this year’s graduating class, we are especially honored to present something positive to these deserving seniors.
All are members of the Copperas Cove community and have plans to attend colleges around the state despite the many unknowns that still lay ahead. We wish Emily, Gabriella, Kylie, Madelyn, and Rylee, along with all the graduating seniors, a safe and prosperous journey as they start the next chapter in their lives.
