Injured Officers Update

On April 23, 2018 at about 4:00 p.m., a Dallas Police officer was working off duty at the Home Depot at 11862 Forest Central Drive. The officer detained a suspect and requested additional cover officers to place the suspect under arrest. At the arrival of the cover officers, the suspect produced a hand gun and fired shots striking the two responding officers and a civilian.

The officers and the civilian are currently in surgery. The suspect remains at large and we are actively searching for him.

Armando Luis Juárez is a 29-year-old Latin male and a person of interest in this case. He may have fled the location in a white truck. If anyone knows the location of Armando Juarez they are asked to call 911.

We will provide updates as information becomes available.

Please keep our officers and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

Comments:
Please shoot this POS and ask questions later - Hopefully he won't be able to answer them. Probably illegal and shouldn't have a gun in the first place
